What is your cancellation policy?

The Supine Studio understands that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.

To be fair to all clients and in consideration of our therapists’ time, all appointments are subject to a 24-hour notice to change or cancel. If you are unable to give 24-hour advance notice of cancelling or rescheduling your appointment, we reserve the right to charge the full session fee. Appointments reserved with a Gift Certificate will have the session fee deducted from the balance.


Clients who forget or choose to forgo their scheduled appointment will be considered “No Show.” No Show appointments are charged the full session fee. No Show sessions reserved with a Gift Certificate will have the session fee deducted from the balance. Therapists will wait up to 15 minutes before marking a client “No Show.”


Please arrive on time for your session. Out of respect for the client after you, we are unable to provide full sessions to late arrivals. Late arrivals are responsible for the full session fee.

Do I have to pay to park?

Metered parking is available immediately in front of The Supine Studio. City of Columbia monitors the meters. The Supine Studio is not responsible for parking tickets.


Free 2-hour parking is available on Marion Street, on the other side of Laurel Street, less than a block away.

Will I have to get naked?

No. While most clients prefer to undress completely, many choose to leave their underwear on. You will be draped with a sheet and blanket so you should never feel “exposed.” If you would prefer to remain completely clothed, please call us for options. Table Thai Yoga that may fit your needs.

What if I hate flute music?

That’s okay! If listening to flute music isn’t your thing to relax with, feel free to bring your own. Some clients like to listen to audiobooks during their sessions..

Are there other clinical techniques you will start offering?

As our clients’ needs grow, we grow. We are always looking for opportunities to better serve you. If there is a style of massage or technique you need to achieve your wellness goals, please let us know! We currently have plans to begin offering specific corrective exercises training in 2021.
